Ale review: Southpaw, gipsy hill brewing company

Described as ‘disarmingly punchy’, this beautiful amber ale certainly didn’t disappoint.

Exceptionally full flavoured for a 4.2%. A creamy head and a smokey aftertaste, this was satisfying and warming, and would be perfect sipped in front of an open fire. On this occasion, I had to make do with a radiator.
