beer review: Mango habanero IPA, brewhouse parties

This is like a bullet in the fucking head. At 7%, drinking in half pints is advisable.

There’s a smokiness that’s rare in a pale, with a bitterly sharp tang that hits the back of the throat hard. Mostly strong ale puts me to sleep, but if ever there was a beer to wake you up, then this is it.

I actually couldn’t taste any of the chilli hinted at in the name, but the mango sweetness certainly burst through, giving this a less hoppy character to a lot of IPAs this strength.
